Cisco 677/678 Hardware

PWR - Power Interface.
ENET - LAN Interface.
MGMT - Management Interface.
WALL - ADSL Port Interface

The AC adaptor is plugged in to the PWR jack on the back of the router and in to a power source. The ethernet cable is inserted in to the ENET port on the back of the router and insterted in to the ethernet jack on the computers network card. The management cable is plugged in to the MGMT port on the back of the router and plugged in to the serial port on the computer. The telephone cord is plugged in to the wall jack and inserted in to the port marked WALL on the back of the router.

The Cisco router uses a crossover cable if connecting directly to a PC. A straight-through cable will not work except when connecting to a hub. Also, the Cisco has an ethernet-to-serial cable that should be connected to the router and your PC.
