Edinboro Residence Hall Network: What Expedient Supports

Exoedient provides level 1 technical support that is free to students to help ensure that your telephone, cable, and internet services are set up correctly.

The following items are covered by Expedient technical support:

  1. Basic telephone, cable, internet configuration.
  2. Problems surfing the internet.
  3. Telephone, cable, and internet outages of any kind.

Expedient offers connectivity support for the following operating systems:

  1. Windows 95, NT, 98, ME, 2000, XP
  2. Mac OS 8.5 and higher

The following items are NOT covered by Expedient technical support:

  1. Configuration of software on computers (other than web browsers).
  2. Technical problems with your equipment (PC, Television, VCR).
  3. File and Print Sharing.

As a last resort, Expedient offers onsite support when necessary. This will be requested by the technician who is working with you when you call.


Computer Showcase, the preferred onsite vendor of Edinboro and Expedient, is available to service your computer hardware and software needs. This assistance is available at the hourly rate set by Computer Showcase. Apart from being the preferred vendor, Computer Showcase is not affiliated with Expedient in any way.
