myStargate: Phonebook
The subscriber may use the interface
in the Phonebook editor to add, change, or delete numbers in the Phonebook. Note: If you change the phone number, check with the phone company to be sure the number is local. Stargate cannot be responsible for toll charges.
- Phonebook List – The user may select a number to edit or delete from
the list. The list can be sorted by clicking on the column header.
- New Entry – Creates a new entry in the Phonebook.
- Delete – Deletes the currently selected phone entry.
- Area Code – the area code of the currently selected number
- Number – the number of the currently selected number
- City – the city name of the currently selected number
- State – the state/region of the currently selected number
- Country Code – the country code of the currently selected number
Editing a Phonebook
A subscriber may edit a phonebook by opening the Phonebook from the shell
interface.
To modify a Phonebook the user should follow these steps:
- Navigate to the "Dial-Up Phonebooks" folder in "My Computer" (My
Computer\Dial-up Phonebooks).
- Right-click on the appropriate icon and select "Properties".
- At this point the Dial Location editor will open.
- The first panel in the phonebook editor will request a new, unique
name for the dial location.
- The second panel displays the standard phonebook editor panel.
- Edit the phonebook and click "Save" to save changes.
