Problem: You get a message saying The computer you are dialing is not answering.
Solution:
- Power-cycle the computer and modem. Turn off the computer. Wait 30 seconds and power on the computer.
- Dialing properties and access number. Check the dialing properties to be sure that dialing location area code is correct and that you selected the correct type of dialing (tone or pulse). If you live in an area that requires 10 or 11 digit dialing, be sure MyStargate is configured to dial the correct number of digits.
